Our behavior modification program is designed for dogs that are scared of their own shadow, react aggressively to other dogs and people, wont come out from under the bed, pee when confronted with a new situation, drag you across the ground to get to another animal, and many others.
We use a balanced, relationship building and positive association based approach that calms the nervous system and rewires your dogs brain to stay calm and confident in hard situations. Every dog is different and each solution will be catered to your specific case.

Progress Looks Different For Every Dog
We start with a temperment evaluation to understand your dogs specific triggers, history, and realistic goals. We don't put a timestamp on when everything will be done for each dog will take a different route and amount of time to meet their goals. From there your trainer will create a plan that may include:

When we first started working with Delta K9, our 1.5 year-old rescue dog Zoozve was a ball of anxiety and fearful/reactive with people. She was so nervous she'd often refuse to eat, and she'd be ferocious towards anyone besides us who came near her or near our house. Less than a year later, she is a totally different dog. She is so much more confident, she'll go up and sniff people's hands rather than try to bite them off.
We can take her to restaurants and have her rest calmly under the table. At home, she eats her food and happily joins us on walks down the street that were previously terrifying for her. Along the way, she conquered fears of loud noises, umbrellas, new surfaces, tight spaces, and more. And we are so much more knowledgeable and confident now about how to handle her, and how to manage those situations that are still a challenge.
From private sessions and bringing the team members to work with us in our home, to group sessions with other people and dogs out in public, Delta K9 gave us all the training and experience we and Zoozve could have hoped for.
