Basic Obedience

Our Basic Obedience Program is designed to help you build a well-mannered, reliable, and "life-proof" dog while strengthening the bond you share. Together, we'll focus on teaching your dog to pay more attention to you, while helping you better understand canine body language,  two way communication, and how to effectively advocate for your dog. We build impulse control and confidence through real-world training that progresses from your home, to the street, to parks, and eventually public stores and busy environments.

We don't just teach skills in a controlled setting—we work alongside you in real-life scenarios, providing guidance and support until you feel comfortable and confident handling situations on your own. Through group work, practical exercises, and exposure to everyday distractions, you'll gain the tools to confidently lead your dog anywhere life takes you while your dog learns to stay calm, focused, and under control.

The final stage of Basic Obedience focuses on group socialization and engagement. Your dog will learn to remain calm, neutral, and responsive around other dogs, crowds, and everyday distractions while continuing to focus on you. Through structured exposure and training, you'll reinforce obedience skills, build confidence, and improve your dog's ability to succeed in busy environments.

Group Socialization

Once your dog has built a solid foundation at home and in everyday environments, you'll take those skills into the real world. Our Public Access Training helps your dog learn to stay calm, focused, and responsive while navigating stores, coffee shops, crowded areas, tight spaces, loud noises, and other everyday distractions. You'll also learn how to confidently advocate for your dog, manage challenging situations, and maintain control so you can enjoy more freedom and confidence together wherever you go.

Public Access

Once your dog has mastered the basics at home, we take training outdoors to build focus, impulse control, and calm behavior around people, dogs, and everyday distractions. Your dog learns to navigate the world with confidence and good manners.

Once the foundation is established at home, we take training outdoors and begin applying those same skills in a low-distraction environment. Here, your dog learns how to stay engaged, calm, and responsive while navigating new sights, sounds, people, and other dogs. We introduce appropriate greetings, build impulse control around everyday distractions, and teach your dog what it means to be relaxed and well-mannered in the world outside your front door.

Advanced Obedience

Our Advanced Obedience Program takes the skills developed in Intermediate Obedience to the next level, challenging both you and your dog to achieve a higher standard of reliability, responsiveness, and control. We focus on advanced off-leash obedience, precision, impulse control, and maintaining clear communication in complex and unpredictable environments.

Rather than relying on structured training setups alone, you'll learn how to navigate real-world challenges where distractions, distance, freedom, and pressure are significantly increased. Through advanced exercises and group work, your dog will be challenged to remain engaged and responsive while making appropriate decisions with greater independence.

This program is designed to refine your handling skills and strengthen your dog's ability to perform reliably when it matters most. The goal isn't simply to have a dog who can follow commands in training, but one who can demonstrate consistent obedience, self-control, and responsiveness across a wide range of real-life situations.
